What is Furk.net? How do I use it?
Furk.net is a Free Hosting Service that allows you to share your Files on the Internet. Furk.net allows uploading not only from your local files but from global BitTorrent network as well. So Furk.net can be used as a BitTorrent proxy.
What programs should I use
  1. VLC video player (or some other free player such as SMPlayer or KMPlayer)
  2. 7Zip archiver
  3. FireFox web browser
  4. DownThemAll download manager for FireFox
All the software is cross-platforwm. Anything else will make your look gay(huh?). Specially IE and Windows Media Player.
What happen if I share my premium download links with my friends?
They will use your bandwidth limit so you'll pay for your friends.
I got a corrupted file. What to do?
If you get corrupted files that means either your have a unreliable Internet connection or problems w/ your computer (RAM for example). Try the following:
  1. Use

    links. For example if you have a content filtering proxy it may help you to bypass it w/o filtering.
  2. Use a download manager. We recomend DownThemAll
  3. Sometimes old archivers may report checksums mistmatch. Try using 7Zip.
I downloaded a file which asks for password/have bad video quality etc...
We have no control over files content. All we do is providing access to files and all available information we were able to gather.
FAQ (obvious and almost useless)
What is the maximum File size?
There is no one. However for HTTP uploads huge files will automatically splitted by RAR archiver.
How long will you host my file?
Basically, forever. If a File was not downloaded for 30 days, it will be deleted if diskspace is required.
What kind of Files will you host (or not host)?
Please go to our Terms of Service Page to see what is not allowed. Other than that, everything is allowed.
I've uploaded a File, but I forgot the Linking Code/URL. What do I do?
  • If you uploaded a file while you were logged in then go to Uploaded Files page and click Share link.
  • If you uploaded anonymously then just upload the File again. You will then get new Linking Codes.
